Pool and Project Financing options
Even though there are fewer lenders and different guidelines in toady's changing mortgage marketplace, there ARE still lenders that will write pool loans. BMR currently works closely with a local broker who has multiple resources to ensure your loan is tailored to your specific needs.
Types of Pool Loans
Three of the popular loan types are described below:
Home Improvement - The client either refinances an existing lien and adds the cost of the pool, or initiates a 2nd lien to pay for the pool. Lending guidelines are less restrictive than other types of loans.
Home Equity - In order to obtain this type of loan, the client must remain at 80% of their home's assessed value. Escrow
Holdback - The client places a required amount of funds into escrow, per the lender, and the title company pays the contractor based on draws.
